The following services will automatically be pinged/notified when you publish normal or future timestamped posts. Not when you edit previously published posts, as WordPress does by default.

This plugin also fixes an issue with the default extended ping programming in Wordpress and pre-2.1 versions of Smart Update Pinger (it now includes the url of the new post).

Cinco razones contra el Pensamiento Positivo

¿Has tratado alguna vez practicar el “Pensamiento Positivo“ o conoces personas a tu alrededor que intentan hacerlo? Es un intento valioso pero fácilmente conduce a una trampa.

Cuando nos damos cuenta que mantener pensamientos negativos ante la vida es cerrar puertas y perder posibilidades, eso nos puede llevar a una búsqueda importante: ¿Cómo puedo cambiar mi forma de pensar para mejorar mi vida? Y claro, una alternativa que se ha promovido desde cientos de libros, programas de televisión etc. es el Pensamiento Positivo.

El problema con el Pensamiento Positivo es que en teoría suena fabuloso pero en la práctica es desastroso. Tres de las muchas razones para esto quiero exponer aquí.

1. El Pensamiento Positivo lleva al Auto-engaño

Si has tratado practicar el Pensamiento Positivo por un tiempo con suficiente seriedad te das cuenta de un hecho muy simple: A veces funciona y a veces no. Para seguir creyendo en el Pensamiento Positivo tienes que olvidarte de las veces que no funciona y sobre-valorar las veces que si. Así es como el Pensamiento Positivo te puede llevar al auto-engaño. Y en base del auto-engaño no puede haber ni Crecimiento Personal ni Éxito.

2. El Pensamiento Positivo bloquea el cambio verdadero

Cuando persiste un problema en nuestra vida y tratamos de cambiarlo practicando el Pensamiento Positivo, lo único que conseguimos muchas veces es que reprimimos las partes de nuestra mente que conducen al problema. Como resultado la raíz del problema se retiran al subsuelo de nuestro subconsciente y jala las cuerdas desde allá. Y es así que se bloquea el cambio verdadero.

3. El Pensamiento Positivo puede bajar al autoestima 

BBC News habla de un estudio que fue publicado en “Psychological Science” que comprobó que practicar el Pensamiento Positivo en la forma usual bajaba el autoestima de las personas que más lo necesitaban. 4. El Pensamiento Positivo entorpece la mente

Una función de la mente es poder explorar todos los aspectos de una opción de actuar, tanto los aspectos positivos como los negativos. Para esto se necesita una mente libre y flexible. Si se practica el Pensamiento Positivo tratando de ver solo el lado positivo de las cosas esta flexibilidad se pierde. También se reduce el sentido de realidad que a veces nos puede advertir de consecuencias negativos.

5. El Pensamiento Positivo lleva a la resignación

La practica del Pensamiento Positivo empieza con una búsqueda importante: ¿Cómo puedo cambiar mi forma de pensar para mejorar mi vida? La práctica del Pensamiento Positivo inevitablemente lleva a la frustración de esa búsqueda y si no se busca por otro lado, a la resignación.

Esto es fatal, porque sí existe una forma de cómo impulsar cambios en nuestra mente que ayudan a mejorar nuestras vidas. Esto tiene que ver con lo que llamo Pensamiento Aplicado y Des-programación Integrativa. Haz me saber si quieres aprender cómo practicarlo.
